The Bobcat Café and Brewery serves hand-crafted beers and contemporary comfort food in the heart of the beautiful Green Mountains. It opened in 2002 in the form of a community-supported business and they continue to support the local community with Wednesday night benefit dinners and by providing a comfortable, fun spot. The brews are made with high-quality yeast, hops, and grains for flavorful beers that appeal to all palates. You will find 11 house beers, including Blonde, Hefeweizen, Ripton Red, E.S.B. Prayer Rock Pale Ale, IPA, Hired Hand Milk Stout, and “Cellar Series” Maple Porter. Or you can try one of the two guest beers, including Citizen Cider Lake Hopper and Glutenburg IPA. Or consider one of the 15 white wines, 15 red wines, two sparkline wines and champagnes, two ciders, or four house cocktails. The menus in the kitchen are created based on seasonal availability and with techniques from around the world in mind. The food menu is extensive, including appetizers like salad, sautéed octopus with bacon and white beans, market fish tacos, flatbread, and wings plus entrees that include sambar, crepes, meatloaf, fried chicken and potato waffles, and shrimp and grits. Or stick to pub fare like a burger or gyro.
