The concept for the 14th Star Brewing Co. was conceived by Steve Gagner while serving in Eastern Afghanistan. Back home, Steve and Matt Kehaya, fellow soldier and best friend, hammered out the details and opened the doors of the 14th Star Brewing Company in 2012. They started small, using retrofitted and repurposed tanks used for collecting maple sap. Two years later, business had grown, forcing them to find larger quarters. In November 2014 they moved to their present location where they were able to vastly increase production. Enjoy such brews as Raspberry Vermonter Weiss, Honey IPA, Uncle Steve's Brown, Salted Caramel Brown, and Naked Maple in cans, bottles, and draft. To go with the brews, you will find live entertainment in the invigorating atmosphere indoors or the peaceful outdoor beer garden. As veterans, Steve and Matt are pleased to give back to their community and fellow veterans through donations to Purple Hearts Reunited INC., Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports, Martha’s Kitchen, and several other worthy organizations. Their slogan is: “Great beer is what we produce, community is what we build.” Visit 14th Star Brewing company any day except Monday and check out their website for hours.
