Locally known as the SMK (Statens Museum for Kunst), the National Gallery Denmark is one of six museums located in the Park Museums District in the heart of Copenhagen. The museum is Denmark’s largest art museum and is an absolute must on the itinerary for all art lovers. You will be able to admire several permanent exhibitions spanning seven centuries and including works by some of the world’s most famous artists, such as Rubens, Matisse, Munch, and many more.
