Housed in a striking purpose-built modern building, the collections of the Valencia Institute of Modern Art (IVAM) are spread though 8 large and airy galleries. The permanent collection covers art works in a variety of themes from various different areas of Spain and beyond, including examples from Latin America, North America and more. In addition to this core permanent collection the museum hosts regular temporary exhibitions. Most visitors to the museum would greatly benefit from joining a guided tour to gain more insight into the complex themes and art topics. The facility also includes a restaurant and museum shop where you can buy prints of many of the artworks on display.
