Review:
Located in an impressive former Seminary building on the left bank of the original bed of the Turia River, the Museum of Fine Art Valencia beckons all art and architecture enthusiasts. The museum was founded back in 1837 and has built up an enviable permanent collection of art covering several periods from the Gothic era to the 20th century. Much of the collection showcases impressive iconographic art from the 13th to 15th centuries and 17th century Baroque art. You can expect to see work by important artists like Velazquez, El Greco, Murillo and Francisco de Goya as well as many other prominent Spanish artists and sculptors.
