Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:

English poet and artist Edward James was a patron of surrealism in Great Britain. He brought his passion for art and love of surrealism to the jungles of San Luis Potosi when he bought a coffee plantation and turned it into his own “Surrealist Xanadu.” Located outside the town of Xilitla, James began to create a concrete surrealist sculpture garden that grew to 32 pieces spread across the 80-acre former plantation. This one-of-a-kind sculpture garden includes fascinating works like The Bamboo Palace, The Three-Story House That Might Have Five, and Road of the Seven Deadly Sins. They’re intermingled with pools, waterfalls, and gardens, which will surprise and intrigue Las Pozas visitors.
