Xcaret Park is Riviera Maya’s original eco-archaeological park, where visitors can appreciate both nature and Maya culture. Highlights include archaeological sites, underground caverns and rivers, the Maya Village, a butterfly pavilion, an aviary, a coral reef aquarium, a lagoon, and a beach. Their nightly show, Xcaret Mexico Espectacular, is on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list. It portrays Mexican history, tradition, dance, and music and is included in the entrance fee. Visitors also get the use of everything from inner tubes to lounge chairs to enjoy the park. “Plus” tickets also include the use of snorkel equipment, a buffet lunch, and a private shower/changing area.
