Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:

Frida Kahlo’s 1904 Blue House in the beautiful Coyoacán neighborhood of Mexico City was where she lived and worked for most of her life and, in the end, where she died. The house was turned into a museum that celebrates the works and lives of both Kahlo and Diego Rivera in 1958, 4 years after her death. Frida Kahlo Museum visitors can expect to see her workspace, where she recovered from a bus accident, the traditional kitchen, the dining room where she and Rivera entertained famous guests, and artwork of both artists. There are also numerous other works of art in the museum that were gifts to Kahlo from other renowned artists.
