Westport Rivers Vineyard was originally opened to the public in 1991, owned and operated by Bob and Carol Russell and winemakers Hugo and Luis Quezada. The award-winning winery has earned more than 20 gold medals at national and international competitions throughout its operation. 400 acres of working farmland is used to harvest high-quality grapes, showcased in minimally-processed varietals such as Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Pinot Noir. The winery is open to the public Mondays through Saturdays, with tasting flights, glasses, and bottles available for sale alongside delicious bar bites. Complimentary public tours are usually offered each Saturday afternoon, with advance reservations required for groups of 10 or more.
