Russell Orchards has a long history of operation as a working farm, originally planted in the 1920s by Joseph Goodale and operated as a thriving commercial orchard throughout the 20th century. The facility, which was purchased and renamed by the Russell family in 2000, crafts a wide variety of farmer's market and orchard products, including delicious farm wines crafted with fruit grown on site, including strawberries, apples, blueberries, and rhubarb. Tastings are offered during the afternoon hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with private tasting times available by appointment. Wines are also sold by the glass or by the bottle, with indoor and outdoor seating space offered for enjoying wines with food. A wide variety of special events are offered at the orchards throughout the year, including an annual November Apple and Wine Festival.
