Mineral Hills Winery at Godard's Red Hen Farm was originally founded in 2010 by Sue and Larry Godard, the owners of Florence's Godard's Red Hen Farm. The farm, which was originally founded as an apple orchard and apiary in 1984, has expanded its operations to produce a wide variety of orchard and harvest fruits throughout the year, including estate grapes for crafting high-quality wines. More than 1,400 cases are produced per year, ranging from classic full-bodied white and red varietals to delicious fruit wines and honey-focused meads crafted with honey harvested on site. Tastings and tours are offered on weekends between April and December or by special appointment, showcasing five one-ounce pours in complimentary souvenir glasses. A wide variety of harvest merchandise is also sold by the winery, including sweet apple cider, honey, and apothecary products.
