Museo di Castelvecchio is unique in its form and houses a diversity of relics and artworks of old.

The museum itself is located within a medieval castle, but its interior has been renovated by the architect Carlo Scarpa from 1959 to 1973.

This gives the museum a modern touch and makes the displays feel more natural and integral to the structure itself as the walls and various fixtures within were designed to hold specific relics and works of art. The Museo di Castelvecchio is home to a collection ranging from sculptures to ceramics, paintings and ancient weapons, and even ancient bells.
