7. Duomo

Built in the twelfth century and dedicated to the Virgin Mary under the title “Santa Maria Matricolare”, the Cathedral of Verona is a sight not to be missed. Duomo's humble facade only hints at its extravagant interior by the detailed sculptures that embellish it.

8. Piazza delle Erbe

Considered by many to be the heart of the community, the Piazza delle Erbe is a place to meet, eat, and indulge in the many shops around the square.

During the time of the Roman Empire, this space once served as the town forum, today it still houses the city’s administration.
