Known by the locals as the Casa di Guilietta, Juliet’s House has been dubbed by Verona to be the official home of the fictional Shakespearean character.

Although Juliet was not a real person, she is seen internationally as a symbol of love and romance. It’s for this reason that every year thousands of tourists flock to her so called abode. If you’re feeling superstitious, you can try your luck at love by rubbing her statue, or leaving a love note among the many others stuck to one of the walls outside her house.

Tourists can venture inside and see how someone might have lived in Juliet’s time, and from her room you can make it out to the balcony for a great photo on the balcony where the famous Juliet was wooed. And if you feel so moved, there are even computers inside should you desire to reach out to an old flame or confess your love to someone you long for.
