Review:

New Oberpfalz Brewing is named for Bavaria’s Oberpfalz brewing region and brewed its first batch of beer in December of 2014. The brewery’s Griffith tap room and restaurant opened to the public in early 2015 and serves a rotating selection of the brewery’s German-style ales and lagers, including its flagship traditional Helles Lager, which received a gold medal at the 2017 U.S. Open Beer Championship. Seasonal brews include its Hopwagon American IPA, Elucidator Dopplebock, Nebra Disk Dry-Hopped IPA, and Our Lady Maibock. Its tap room menu utilizes locally-sourced ingredients and features grass-fed burgers, shareable plates, and vegetarian options, along with a full children’s menu. Guest drafts from other local breweries are also tapped, along with wine and hard cider options.
