Fountain Square Brew Co. opened a public tap room and brewery facility in the summer of 2010, striving to become a local hangout for the downtown Indianapolis area. The brewery’s owners have backgrounds in chemistry and microbiology and strive to craft unique high-quality beers with long-lasting shelf stability and a high level of flavor consistency. Brews offered at its tap room include the brewery’s flagship Workingman’s Pilsner, Preacher’s Daughter Amber Ale, Hop for Teacher Pale Ale, Soul Ride IPA, and Backyard Porter. Pints and pitchers are available for purchase, along with growler fills and to-go sales of the brewery’s ales.
