Review:
Tucked away in the forest along the Tahquamenon River, the Tahquamenon Falls State Park is a 52,000-acre state park in Paradise, Michigan and the second largest of Michigan's state parks. Famous for its spectacular waterfalls, which are the largest east of the Mississippi, the park offers an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The park features four campgrounds - two modern campgrounds at the Lower Falls, and two at the Rivermouth, one of which is basic. Each campsite has close to 100 sites with electricity, ground fire rings, and picnic table, and several restroom blocks have flush toilets, sinks, and hot showers. Recreational activities include 25 miles of hiking trails, guided nature walks, and educational programs for all ages.
