Surrounded by rolling farmlands, Lena KOA Holiday is a family-friendly campground decorated with beautifully manicured flower beds, woodlands and grassy lawns for picnicking. Located at the beginning of the historic Stagecoach Trail east of Galena, the campground features a wide variety of camping options ranging from deluxe cabins and patio sites to standard tent sites and teepees, some of which have water, electricity and sewerage hookups and bathrooms with showers, hot running water, and flush toilets. A large outdoor kitchen is available for campers to use, along with fire pits and wireless Internet, and other facilities at the campground include a heated swimming pool with a double tube slide and the Jumbo Jumper, horseshoes, sand volleyball, pedal karts, gem mining, and cornhole. The campground hosts themed weekend activities such as barrel train rides, ice cream socials, and live music.
