Located in Butler and Preble counties, Hueston Woods State Park is a 3,000-acre reserve and recreation area that surrounds the 625-acre Acton Lake and offers a variety of outdoor recreational activities such as camping, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, swimming, and unique to this region - fossil hunting. The Hueston Woods State Park Campground has a variety of campsites ranging from tent and RV sites with water, electricity, and sewerage hookups to equestrian sites with hitching rails, non-electric sites, day-use sites, and one yurt for extra privacy and space. Amenities include restrooms with showers and flush toilets, a dump station, and barbecue facilities.
