Review:

Created to celebrate and bring awareness to Georgia's African American heritage and culture, The APEX Museum tells the rich story of a part of American history that sometimes gets overlooked. The exhibits contain artifacts and photographs that date from 6,000 years ago to modern times, and visitors can expect to learn about a wide range of topics, including African contributions to art and science in 6500 B.C and the first black-owned businesses in Georgia. The museum is best suited to children aged 7 and older, but special storytelling programs can sometimes be arranged for larger groups with young children.
