Part of the Woodruff Arts Center, the High Museum of Art is one of the best art museums in the Southeast, and it boasts more than 15,000 pieces of artwork displayed in seven themed galleries. Guided tours are included in the price of admission, and although they're aimed more at adults, kids up to the age of 8 will find plenty of things to do in the Greene Family Learning Gallery. If you have younger kids, try to visit on a Thursday, when the museum hosts an entire day full of toddler-friendly activities designed to encourage kids to explore their creativity.
