Review:

Opened in 2009, the Tellus Science Museum is a modern natural history and science museum proudly affiliated with the Smithsonian Institute. Highlights of the exhibits include the replica of the first Wright brothers’ flyer, the extensive rock and mineral collection, and the fossil gallery, which features a massive T-Rex skeleton. Kids will also love visiting the Fossil Dig and Gem Panning activity area, where they'll discover exciting treasures they can take home. It typically takes three hours to tour the museum, and if you have some extra time, you can also watch a 45-minute show in the state-of-the-art planetarium.
