Review:

Georgia certainly has its fair share of civil war museums and monuments, but the National Civil War Naval Museum is the only one that provides the opportunity to learn about the war from the Navy standpoint. The centerpiece of the museum is the 180-foot warship C.S.S Jackson, a Confederate vessel that was used on the Chattahoochee River, but there are a handful of other replica ships for visitors to see as well. If you're looking for something more interactive, step into the battlefield with the ironclad ship simulator or participate in one of the living history programs regularly hosted by the museum.
