Review:

Southbound Brewing Company is Savannah’s first production microbrewery, launched in May of 2013. The brewery’s tap room is open to the public Wednesdays through Saturdays for tastings and tours and frequently hosts public special events such as pub trivia nights, paint-your-pet evenings, and lectures and discussions with local figures. Year-round brews include the Shakedown Street French-style saison, the Scattered Sun Belgian-style witbier, the Hopplin’ American-style IPA, and the Mountain Jam Southern dry-hopped lager. Seasonal brews include Belgian-style saison Desert Dawn, Picture of Nectar IPA, Transilience German-style sour wheat ale, and Moonlight Drive imperial coffee stout. A variety of one-off brews have also been offered on a limited release basis.
