Review:
Creature Comforts Downtown Taproom and Brewery was the vision of Twain’s Billiards and Tap head brewer David Stein and SweetWater Brewing Company brewer Adam Beauchamp and is dedicated to driving creativity in the craft brewing industry through a scientifically-based focus on specialty brews and flavor innovation. The brewery has received awards from the Athens Heritage Foundation for its rehabilitation of its 1940s warehouse facility, which offers 13,000 square feet of tap room and brewing space. Year-round offerings by the brewery include its Bibo pilsner, its Tropicália American IPA, its Amber-aged French Oak Reclaimed Rye, and its Athena Berliner weisse. Creature Comforts has four seasonal offerings: Cosmik Debris, Koko Buni, Table Beer, and Automatic.
