Grumpy Old Men Brewing is a Blue Ridge microbrewery that was opened in 2012 by retired beer enthusiasts looking to turn their homebrewing hobby into a business venture. Today, the brewery, which was transferred to new ownership in 2018, offers tasting room hours Tuesdays through Saturdays and accommodates up to 18 taps at any given time. Popular offerings include the brewery’s Aska Pale Ale, Hell’s Holler porter, Bergey brown ale, Moon Over Blue Ride wheat ale, Tootla Creek blonde ale, and Devil’s Den, Big Booty Black, and Grasshoppa IPAs. The brewery is a proud dog-friendly brewery and welcomes well-behaved four-legged friends on leashes.
