Review:
Eagle Creek Brewing Company is Statesboro’s only craft brewery, opened in 2013 by Franklin Dismuke. Since 2016, the brewery has operated as a brewpub, serving a variety of creative American bar fare, including pulled pork sandwiches, quesadillas, sliders, and waffle fries. Year-round and seasonal brew offerings include the brewery’s Georgia Tea Party sweet tea Amber ale, Grass Roots hefeweizen, Low Country pale ale, and River Street praline brown ale. The brewery’s limited-release Gas Light series also offers unconventional one-off weekly brews focusing on seasonal ingredients and creative brewing techniques. A variety of public special events are held periodically at the brewpub, including trivia nights, open mic events, and performances by local musicians.
