Located in Loxahatchee River - Lake Worth Creek Aquatic Preserve in Jupiter, Florida, The Loxahatchee River Center offers live aquatic tanks and a range of interactive exhibits including a touch tank with species native to the Loxahatchee River system, from a freshwater cypress swamp to seagrass estuary and marine ecosystems. The center is a fun, educational space for school children, adults, tourists and residents, where they can learn about Loxahatchee River, Florida’s first National Wild and Scenic River. The River Center offers a range of programs for school children, field trips and homeschool groups. There are also seasonal family programs such as Family Seine & Snorkel, Storytime, Fishing Clinics and Loxahatchee by Night Campfires.
