Review & FAQ:
The Du Bois Pioneer Home was built way back in 1898 and is the only surviving example of an historic homestead of its kind in Palm Beach County. Located in Du Bois Park, the remarkable home was built on top of a Native American shell rock midden, and became known as the House on the Hill. At one time, the entire Du Bois Park was a bustling village for early Floridians. The house is filled with original period pieces, antiques and personal items. If you are interested in exploring the homestead you can phone to arrange a (free) guided tour on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
