Cypress Creek Natural Area is a large multi-use park in Jupiter, Florida, with a network of shady, pleasant trails for biking, hiking and horseback riding. It is a magical space where nature and history meet. Historic Indiantown Road that runs through offers opportunity to observe wildlife at every turn. The park includes over 2000 acres of diverse ecosystems on both sides of Indiantown Road: mesic flatwoods, hydric hammock, wet flatwoods, wet prairie, dome swamp, depression marsh and blackwater stream. They provide a home to more than 217 species of animals and 500 species of plants. Historical monuments include Native American middens, the location of the Loxahatchee River Battle. There are also remnants of the Rood Settlement from the early 1900s.
