Review:

Travel back in time to the 1800s at the Guy B Woodward Museum. This Verlaque house was built in 1886 and is an original home featuring a quaint French Provincial design and antique furnishing. Visitors to the Guy B Woodward Museum can explore not just the home, but also the out buildings surrounding the home. Some of the attractions in the museum grounds include an 1874 cowboy bunk house, a blacksmith shop, a tack shop, a 7-ton steel jail, a post office, millinery shop and even a replica of an authentic one-room schoolhouse. Other items to check out include a honey processing shed, 1800’s style wagons, equipment, as well as local historic biographies, school records and even newspapers.
