Perfectly positioned at the summit of beautiful Lookout Mountain in Northeast Alabama, the De Soto State Park offers a rustic outdoor recreational area set against the backdrop of Nature at its finest. There is a large variety of accommodation options within the park and campers can choose between the Improved Campground (which offers 94 campsites with full hookup) or opt to set up camp in one of the 18 primitive camp sites. The Improved Campground offers additional little luxuries like centrally situated restrooms, showers and coin-operated laundry rooms, and can accommodate any size of RV in both pull-through and back-in campsites.
