Open from March to October, the Corinth Recreation Area is a popular camping destination on Lake Lewis Smith in the Bankhead National Forest. Here you can spend your days exploring the extensive shoreline of the lake or enjoying some excellent bass fishing. The campground offers spacious campsites with water and electrical hookup and all the on-site picnic areas and restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Families love the large shady campsites and the easy access to the swimming beach and boat ramp. The campsite is also your gateway to the popular hiking trails in the Sipsey Wilderness which is known for its many waterfalls, bluffs and canyons.
