The University of Wisconsin Steven Point is part of the state’s University of Wisconsin university system and is conveniently located near the U.S. Route 51, Interstate 39, and State Route 66. Encompassing more than four hundred acres, the campus of the public university consists of over forty buildings, a 25-acre lake, and a 280-acre nature reserve, the Schmeeckle Reserve. In addition to arts, performances, and the nature preserve, the University of Wisconsin Steven Point also offers numerous different athletic events for spectators to attend and is part of the NCAA Division III and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
