The Q Artists Cooperative, situated in the downtown district of Stevens Point, offers a “community for artists” and creates “art for the community.” Gallery Q, which is owned and operated by the artist cooperative, is an art gallery that showcases works of art created by more than twenty artists in the local community, including works of wood carving, wearable art, jewelry, custom lamps, prints, pottering, and painting. The Q Artists Cooperative is democratically controlled and owned by those who create art and strives to meet the needs of its artist members by marketing the artwork they produce.
