This park resides in Ellison Bay and is one of the state’s only designated wilderness parks. Newport State Park covers over 2,373 acres and features 30 miles of hiking and biking trails which meander through wetlands, meadows, and forests. The state park is also just a short distance away from Lake Michigan providing you with easy access to the lake for swimming and fishing. Newport State Park is part of the International Dark-Sky Association making it the perfect spot for stargazing.
