The Bagley Rapids Campground has 30 campsites which overlook the Oconto River. These sites are on a first-come basis and have water and restrooms. There are fees but some can be waived or reduced if you have an Interagency pass. While here, visitors can search for berries, go trout fishing, or hike up to the Mountain Fire Lookout Tower which is one of the last fire towers in the state. A short walk away from the campground is Cathedral Pines which is a large section of pine and hemlock trees that survived Wisconsin’s brutal logging era back in the early 1900s.
