Located nine miles from Rhodes Town, the Valley of the Butterflies, also known as The Valley of the Butterflies, is a 600-acre nature park with leafy trees, blooming flowers, walking trails, small streamlets, and grassy picnic areas.

The park is renowned for being home to millions of colorful butterflies who flock to the park to lay eggs and reproduce in the spring and summer, creating a natural spectacle to behold. The park is also home to many Zitia trees, a species only found in a few areas of the Mediterranean that attract butterflies to its leafy branches.
