Review:

Beer is usually the first beverage to come to mind when you think of the Czech Republic, but the country produces some excellent wine as well, and the South Moravia Wine Region is one of the best places to give it a try. More than 90% of the country's registered vineyards can be found here, and there are plenty of cycling and driving tours available. The best time to visit is generally between April and September, and if you come during harvest season, you'll get the chance to watch the winemaking process in action and perhaps even participate in a “closing of the vineyard” festival.
