Review:

Nestled in the Jizera Mountains of the northern Bohemia region, Liberec is a staggeringly beautiful city that provides an interesting contrast to Prague. The city is an especially popular destination in the winter, as it's surrounded by downhill ski resorts and miles of cross-country ski trails, but the mountains are an excellent spot for hikers to visit during the warmer months as well. If you'd rather stay in town, there are no shortage of things to keep you entertained here either, with highlights including the North Bohemian Museum, the ornate Town Hall, and the Liberec Zoo, which is proudly home to white tigers.
