Fondly known as the "Top of Europe", Jungfraujoch sits in the Alps at an altitude of 11,300 feet, making it the highest train station in all of Europe. The train ride itself boasts spectacular views, but once you reach the top, the scenery is jaw-dropping (video). You can take an elevator up 380 more feet to the observatory, which offers 360-degree views, and other attractions here include an ice palace, a Lindt chocolate museum, and several restaurants. Most visitors board the train in Interlaken, but you can also catch it in Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald if that suits your itinerary better. Jungfraujoch
