San Antonio Botanical Garden is a nationally-recognized botanical garden facility, named as one of the American South's best botanical garden facilities by Southern Living in 2017. The
garden, which has also been acclaimed by TripAdvisor as one of the nation's top conservatory gardens, spans 33 acres and serves as the city's official botanical garden facility, recognized throughout the country for its environmental stewardship programs and opportunities to connect with nature. Visitors can explore the park's landscaped garden areas, including its Rose Garden, Water Saver Garden, and Old-Fashioned Garden, or peruse formal display garden exhibits at its Lucile Halsell Conservatory. The gardens are home to the spectacular Rosella at the Garden cafe, which is housed within the converted Sullivan Carriage House and serves up brunch, coffee, and spirits daily. Other attractions include an overlook tower and a 2.5-acre Family Adventure Garden offering nature-integrated play experiences for children.
