Phil Hardberger Park is a unique public park and living history center in San Antonio, situated on the former preserved farm property of Minnie and Max Voelcker.
The Voelckers' farm was donated to the City of San Antonio following their death and was converted into a living history park in 2010, preserving a number of historic farm structures from the original homestead. Park visitors can enjoy more than four miles of walking and biking trails, including the Savanna Loop Trail and the Geology Trail, or bring their four-legged friends to enjoy playing at a 1.8-acre dog park and several off-leash play sections. Other park amenities include basketball courts, day-use picnic sites, children's playgrounds, and the Phil Hardberger Park Urban Ecology Center.
