Bamberger Nature Park is a small but charming park in San Antonio that connects to the nearby Babcock Connector Trail and the larger Howard W. Peak Greenway Trail System, a 65-mile accessible multi-use trail system throughout the greater San Antonio region.
Visitors can enjoy a number of nature walking trails throughout the park, including the 0.4-mile paved Exercise Loop, a popular warm-up exercise trail, and the family-friendly Leon Creek Loop trail, which traverses forested areas and borders a beautiful creek.
Higher-altitude walks are offered along the park's South Loop Trail, which is open to bikers and dog walkers. In total, the park's trails span 2.5 miles in length and are primarily ADA accessible for visitors with mobility concerns. Other park features include a day-use children's playground.
