Stonehaus Winery produces Tennessee's only state-distributed regional wine, sold at the company's public winery facility and at grocery and liquor stores throughout the state. The gorgeous Cumberland Plateau winery was opened to the public in 1991 by Robert and Belle Ramsey and is operated by the couple's family to this day. More than 3,300 gallons of wine are produced each year, crushed and pressed on site and bottled by hand. Delicious wines cold throughout the year include reserve Chardonnay and Cabernet varietals, delicious blush wines meant for food pairing, and fruit wines in unique flavors such as orange, cherry, and raspberry. Complimentary wine tastings are offered at the winery's tasting room, which serves custom cheese trays for pairing. In addition to wine accessories and apparel, the winery's gift shop also sells a variety of locally-produced pottery, artisan wares, and gourmet food.
