Starr Hill Vineyard and Winery is a charmingly boutique winery in Clearfield County, based out of the city of Curwensville and located along the Groundhog Wine Trail. The winery has been overseen by owner Ken Starr since 1998 and has been operated as a wide-distribution commercial winery since 2005, partnering with national retailers such as Walmart since 2012. Its main winery facility is housed on 13 vineyard acres in Clearfield County, which produce delectable wine varietals such as Barbera, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Merlot. High-quality varietals such as Lambrusca, Chianti, and Malbec are also crafted from imported Italian and Chilean grapes. In addition to the company's public tasting room at its main winery, four stores and tasting stations are also housed within Walmart locations throughout Pennsylvania.
