Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:
The Southside Riverfront Park is one of the first riverfront parks in Pittsburgh and could be considered the birthplace of the region’s Three Rivers Heritage Trail system.
Located in the city’s neighborhood of South Side along the banks of the Mon River, the riverfront park includes a canoe launch, a public boat launch, and a picnic area. Opportunities for biking and hiking can also be found within the Southside Riverfront Park. The trail and park seamlessly connect upriver through the South Side Marina and into the South Shore Riverfront Park. Several restaurants, shops, and bars are located nearby.
