Review & Frequenly Asked Questions:
Mt Washington Observation Deck offers a beautiful view of downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that’s hard to beat.
Visitors and locals alike can now take the roads up to the observation deck, however, two inclines are still in operation daily for a more unique experience, taking visitors up to the summit of Mount washington for the stunning views. The oldest incline is the Monongahela Incline, located near Station Square, a destination for dining and shopping, as well as stop on the Light Rail. Finished back in 1870, it’s the country’s oldest operating incline. The Duquesne Incline offers a slightly better city view.
