Settlers Cabin Park is a 1,589-acre Pittsburgh park that is home to the most popular wave pool in the county, along with an excellent diving platform. Archaeologists helped to identify the origins of the circa 1780 log cabin from which the park gets its name, while the shelters and groves throughout Settlers Cabin Park pay homage to tribes of Native Americans. The Pittsburgh Botanical Garden can also be found at the park, encompassing a total of 450 acres. Another one of Settlers Cabin’s claim to fame is being the only county park to have a professional diving well.
