Nickerson Beach Campground is a 74-site RV park between Long Beach and Point Lookout managed by the county. The camping sites are back-in only and have full hookups. There are no amenities and no wi-fi. There is no cable, but individual antennas can get local TV. Each site has a picnic table. There are no fire pits but guests can use their own wood burning or propane grill. The sites are spacious but there is absolutely no shade. The campground is located next to the sand dunes that provide access to the ocean about a 1/4 mile away. There is a family "Fun Zone" perfect for kids, featuring a state-of-the-art playground, basketball and volleyball courts, a baseball field and a skate park. There are swimming pools on both ends of the park
